Common Name: Señorita Prickly Pear
Incredible turquoise pads, quite large, loosely diamond shaped. Grows 3 ½ ‘ to 4’ all around at maturity. Seems to be resistant to cochineal scale insect infestation. Small yellow flowers on a plant that literally seems to glow blue, with very slight maroon tints in wintertime and when cold.
Outstanding accent in the desert garden, or desertscape.
