Salvia Chiapensis

Common Name: Garnet Sage

Salvia chiapensis, commonly known as Garnet Sage has sparks of tiny, but brilliant, magenta pink blossoms energize this lush green, gracefully rounded perennial. Can grow up to approximately three feet around, but shapes easily with a snap of a branch to modify its size-easy maintenance! This sun lover will tolerate some light shade, prefers regular garden watering, can survive winter temperatures to the mid 20’s, but is tender to frost. Hummingbirds love the blossoms.
