Common name: Sunburst Pinwheel
Aeonium haworthii, commonly known as Sunburst Pinwheel, has large, brilliantly green and cream rays on long leaves, arranged in pinwheel whirls, are tinted with maroon pin-striping, on stems rising 1 to 2 feet from the ground. Occasionally branching, the colorful faces bring a smile to any garden in part shade, to cool (coastal) full sun. Dormant during the warm season, so don’t push with water/fertilizer. Cool season brings abundant and active growth again. Regular garden watering, to drought tolerant. Frost tender.
