Common Name: “Blue” Foliage
A robust, upright mass of lush “blue” foliage in columns up to 3’ and ultimately as wide. Great for large in-fill of slope areas, and for fire-safe screening. Beautiful as individual specimens as well. Unlike its near relatives, doesn’t seem to have the summer rot and damp-off syndrome that its “brothers” are known for. Full sun, or part shade. Hardy to high 20’s. Not a good low-desert candidate amid extreme summer temperatures.
