Common name: Mare’s Bunch Grass
Festuca mairei, commonly known as Mare’s Bunch Grass has stiff, grayish-evergreen grass blades that radiate outward from a central dense clump. Approximately 1-2 feet in height. Full sun, quite tolerant of most water conditions, from moist to almost arid with occasional deep waterings.
