Common Name: Baby Beaver Tails
Opuntia basilaris ‘Caudata’, commonly known as Baby Beaver Tails, is a compact prickly pear cactus only grows to 18 inches tall and slowly to 2’ wide, and can be pruned occasionally. Springtime finds these beautiful silver-blue pads covered with brilliant, delicate, bright pink flowers.
