Botanical Name: Aeonium haworthii
Common name: Kiwi Pinwheels

Aeonium haworthii, commonly known as Kiwi Pinwheels has small rosettes bundle to form low growing mounds of fruit-punch colored foliage. The colors are the result of variegation in leaf pigments, but look delightfully like little flowers. More light in winter intensifies colors, however summer heat in full sun can be hard on this plant during its dormant season. It needs to rest in summer, so even if it looks like it’s struggling, resist the urge to water it more, as it may result in root and stem rot. Excellent potted plant, or for potted groupings, or in partial shade. Slowly grows up to 2ft all around. Frost tender. Regular garden watering, to water-wise.
