Botanical Name: Agave filifera
Common name: Paint & String Agave

Agave filifera, commonly known as Paint & String Agave has small to medium rosettes up to 2 1/2′ wide and 1′ tall, of dark green leaves beautifully marked with white stripes as if they were hand painted on; edges of leaves peeling off with white strings as leaves unwrap and unfurl from growing center. Striking container plant of manageable size, or beautiful in the landscape where it will tolerate some light shade as well. Best in full sun, hardy to low 20s.
