Common name: Aloe Blue Elf

Aloe hyb. ‘Blue Elf’, commonly known as Aloe Blue Elf, is the answer for a beautiful, blue-leafed Aloe that doesn’t get too big, but holds nothing back when it comes to flowering! A mature plant rarely exceeds the height of about 18″ and can clump from the base to 1-2 feet wide. Clumps explode with many spikes of coral-red flowers in winter and into early spring. When the show is all over, the slender leafed foliage remains wonderfully blue throughout the rest of the year. Great in full sun, or filtered shade, and also makes a nice manageably sized potted plant. Be careful at beach-side locations- does NOT like salt spray. Likes dry soil conditions
