Bougainvillea Torch Glow

Bougainvillea Torch Glow, commonly known as Torch Glow Bougainvillea is different in form and shape than a typical rambling Bougainvillea, this plant is more bush-like with branches that often emerge in straight spires or “torches” covered with hot pink/red flowers for most of the year. Very drought tolerant after 2nd or 3rd year of establishment. Hardy to the mid-twenties with some possible leaf damage from frost. Loves full, hot sun and is a great compliment to succulent and tropical gardens, or can be used as a color accent for desert landscapes. Looks best when allowed its natural spiky shape, not pruned into boxes or balls. Grows slowly.
