Chilopsis linearis, commonly known as Desert Willow, a beautiful desert tree that is covered with “snapdragon”-like flowers during the warm season months. Foliage is soft and “willow”-like, and deciduous in winter. Very drought tolerant when established, loves heat, and best away from the cold coast. Growing to about 20ft, it’s most attractive as a multi-trunk or low branching tree.
