Cotyledon tomentosa

Cotyledon tomentosa, commonly known as Kitten Paws, is good for when you need something snuggly in the garden, there’s nothing like soft kitten paws, fuzzy with tiny little red “toes” to cuddle up with. The velveteen olive green leaves form low mounds that grow slowly. In the winter and spring, a few small orange flowers sparkle on the surface of the mound, but never very showy. It prefers filtered shade almost everywhere except near the coolness of extreme coastal areas. Fantastic in container gardens, and will even spill over the edge a little bit. Can be grown indoors on a sunny window sill as a unique houseplant. Good on regular garden watering as long as there is good drainage.
