Common name: Copper Tree

Euphorbia cotinifolia, commonly known as Copper Tree, has almost burgundy round leaves on reddish purple twigs. Makes for a striking small tree in the landscape. It is certainly most attractive as a multi-trunk or low branching specimen. Full sun, and very water-wise when established. This little tree is frost tender, so use in coastal areas, or as a potted plant that can be moved to protected areas. Can get to be about 10ft. tall, and as wide. Flowers are yellow, but tiny, and fairly insignificant.
