Euphorbia xantii, commonly known as Cherry Blossom Euphorbia, has slender, fine textured branches and leaves. It can grow to be a quite large succulent shrub. It explodes in little pink flowers that look like miniature cherry blossoms, repeatedly from January through June. This infusion of PINK makes a powerful impression in the landscape. It is best used where it can ramble, as it spreads by stolons underground and can get quite invasive. It loves the full sun, is very water-wise, and is winter deciduous. It is hardy to 25 degrees. I can picture this plant used in waves on rolling hillsides, as a screen, or dividing line.
