Common Name: Tropic-Tillo

Description:

Pedilanthus bracteatus, commonly known as Tropic-Tillo, the equivalent of a thornless Ocotillo, growing with the same shape up to 8′ tall and tipped with coral flower brachts for a good portion of the year. Leaves appear with new growth, but drop off when mature or very dry, to expose elegant smooth green stems. Striking vertical accent! Water-wise, but tolerates regular garden watering as well. A member of the Euphorbia family, milky sap is irritating. Handle with care.
