Pentas lanceolata

Pentas lanceolata, commonly known as Star Clusters. This great perennial comes in shades of dark and light pink, red, and soft lavender. Nice shrub with rich green, oval leaves sets off colorful, round balls of star-shaped flowers. Approximately 3′ tall by 4′ wide. Prune to shape spring through fall. Loves the sun, but can tolerate some shade too! Takes a bit of a rest in the coldest part of winter, then takes off again in the warmth of spring. Likes regular garden watering. Tender to frost.
