Rhodocoma fruiticosa, commonly known as Vertical Bamboo Rush, is a tough, grass-like, clumping plant is truly upright with slender, jointed, bamboo-like foliage 3-4’ tall, but narrow. Dark tufts at stem ends are a delightful accent against lush, grass-like greens. Regular garden watering is fine, but can also tolerate wet conditions. A member of the South African Restio family.
