Salvia greggii ‘Red Crayon Sage’

Salvia greggii ‘Red’, commonly known as Red Sage is part of a group of sages that have clear, crayon colored flowers, ranging through almost all colors, from white, yellow, to salmons, pinks, reds and even into deep violets. Bullet-proof in performance, (we like to prune older, woody plants to the ground every now and then to freshen them up). Certainly this is the premiere plant group for durable color-splash in a landscape! Very drought tolerant, but performs fine in regular watering too.
