Echinocereus Pentalophus

Common Name: “Crab Crawl Cactus”

One of the most non-descript, little, flat growing, creeping cacti is unimpressive until it explodes in the most astounding flowers in spring! 2-3” across, brilliant pink and in such abundance they often completely hide the plant underneath. We’re not sure about cold-hardiness, but feel confident down into the teens. Full sun, rarely more than a foot a cross, and only 2-3” high. Full sun. Sometimes planted in a hanging basket and allowed to creep down over the edges.
