They barely put on an inch or two of growth each year. To the rescue! Our new hybrid Ocotillo comes from characteristics accustomed to a cooler climate already, so it thrives, has brilliant red flowers, and grows abundantly in coastal So. Cal, yet is also good in hot inland deserts also- from Las Vegas to Palm Springs and low desert Arizona. Typical Ocotillo growth, except a little bit bushier habit. Can be pruned for a more upright, traditional look. Hardy to teens. Full sun; up to 8’ tall and 4-6’ wide.
