Common Name: Frog Flower
Phyla nodiflora, commonly known as the Frog Flower is an amazing, dense, low, spreading ground cover plant rarely exceeding 1” in height but capable of spreading 2-3’ wide. When planted 2-3’ apart, they quickly fill together to form a solid mat of bright green foliage, often used as a lawn substitute. Sparkling with small white or pink flowers most of the year round. Drought tolerant when established, full sun to substantial shade. Hardy to low 20’s.
