‘Sentinel’ Maiden Grass

Miscanthus ‘Sentinel’, commonly known as ‘Sentinel’ Maiden Grass. This is a new variety of grass, developed here at Waterwise Botanicals. It has all the desirable traits that we look for in a top ornamental grass! It’s a beautiful, dark green, vertical accent growing to 4 or 5’ tall in sun or part shade. Clumping in habit, it is seed-sterile and non-invasive. In warmer climates, it produces its graceful flower tassles, pretty much year-round! The foliage is evergreen year-round (unlike most other Miscanthus), unless temperatures drop into the low teens in winter. Nonetheless, it is hardy to 0 degrees, or colder.
